About Bethany Burt

Bethany Burt’s passion for real estate developed early. Growing up in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania she adored the traditional Dutch Colonial house of her childhood. With its expansive porches, hardwood floors, high ceilings, deep window sills, and detailed moldings, she learned at a young age to recognize quality architecture and construction. Sundays were often spent touring open houses with her mother, an activity they still enjoy.

Bethany attended Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and received her B.A. with a major in Sociology and minor in Fine Arts. She was aiming to become a lawyer, however, a brief stint interning at her father’s law office deterred her from that path. She just couldn’t envision a future where the highlight of the day would be microwave popcorn.

She decided to go back to school at night to study interior design. Living independently, she got a job as a manager of a graphic design studio to pay the bills. She soon discovered that she really enjoyed design and advertising. The challenge of marrying words with photos and illustrations seamlessly to create dynamic and effective campaigns engrossed her. She decided to switch her studies to marketing and design.

Bethany has spent over twenty-five years working in marketing, advertising, and design. First as a designer, then as an Art Director, a Creative Director; she has owned her own marketing company, Nest Media Co., for ten years.

She married in 2000 and has two children, an eleven-year-old daughter, and a 17-year old son. Her son is an A student at the Charter High School, who is extremely active in clubs and school activities. Her daughter attends the Willow School and is on a championship travel soccer team. Bethany never misses a game.

Bethany and her husband began flipping houses in 2001. With her eye for quality architecture and construction, she has a knack for finding homes with major upside potential. She loves finding undervalued homes and transforming them. She knows the ins and outs of home renovation and real estate investment and enjoys helping clients discover properties with significant income potential.

Bethany moved to Florida in 2010. She became a certified yoga instructor and personal trainer in 2011 and briefly owned a yoga studio in Vero Beach. She continues to teach yoga and fitness classes at VeroFitness.

An avid reader and writer, Bethany’s first children’s book was published in 2016. “I Am NOT a Princess!” was inspired by her daughter and her love of all things princess. It is sold in Barnes Noble stores and on Amazon.com.

In 2017, eager to enter back into flipping homes, Bethany obtained her real estate license. She was immediately hired by friends and family and thus had a high-speed introduction to the role of real estate agent.

Bethany truly enjoys being a real estate agent. She enjoys working with buyers and sellers. She is especially adept at marketing high-end, luxury properties. She knows how to stage, style and present homes to appear their absolute best, enhancing their positive attributes while minimizing any flaws. She allows loves hunting for properties. She can spot a diamond in the rough.
